Investigators say mobile phone used to send Indian Mujahideen's e-mail owning up responsibility for the attack was bought from their shop
Two owners of a cellphone shop in Manish Market were detained for questioning in connection with the Jama Masjid attack by the ATS.
Investigators said the duo was picked up on Thursday night as Indian Mujahideen's e-mail claiming responsibility for the attacks was sent from a phone bought from their shop.

"The mobile phone was bought a couple of days before the attack. We are grilling them to get more details," said a senior ATS official.

While officials said that the detainees are residents of Mumbra and Bhendi Bazaar, they declined to reveal their names saying it would hamper investigations.
The police are sifting through their personal records to ascertain if they owed any allegiance to the terror outfit. "We are checking if the two had any criminal cases registered against them," added the official.
Suspicion fell on the duo also because Manish Market, near Crawford market, is the hub of smuggling activities in Mumbai and a large number of operators owe allegiance to gangster Dawood Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, investigations have also revealed that a Docomo SIM card used to send the e-mail was bought from a retailer in Dadar TT.
