What plays in my mind is the state of people in Kashmir. Being a Kashmiri, I have grown up on Sufi music. It has always been a source of inspiration for us self-taught musicians, who have grown up in an ambience seeped in art and culture. Every morning with our music, we pray for peace and happiness and want the sound of gun-shots to be replaced by the sound of mellifluous music. When we friends gather, we make music. It is our way of praying to God to let our next generations see peace and happiness. I want tourism to come back to Kashmir and give opportunity to the talent there. There are so many young men wanting to make their mark.u00a0 Kashmir is always on my mind. Even this note is my prayer to Allah that I hope will be heard.
