It's been twelve years since I've been to any school and I was surprised by how things have changed.

Take yesterday for example when I asked how many students liked history, more than 20u00a0 raised their hands without there being any incentive or pressure to do so.
In my days, barely one or two would have done so and that too because they were the teacher's pet. I asked how many liked reading and I was pleasantly surprised.

We blame televisions, the Internet and video games for a certain dumbing down, but I saw that this is not true at all. It's great that kids can make time for pleasure despite all the pressure.
