As an artist and poetess, the rains of Mumbai always fascinate me with their myriad hues. The colours of the monsoon are so beautiful that you can capture them in your mind's eye and recreate them on the canvas. I create spiritual paintings and the monsoon brings with it a sense of peace and the longing to transfer that feeling on to the canvas.
I love the colours of the monsoon ufffd the greens coming to life, the water, the surreal rainbow that one gets to occasionally see ufffd they all lend to my inspiration. I connect my poetry to my paintings and the raindrop is a poet's fascination.
Nevertheless, in a very odd way, the potholes and the deluge also lendu00a0 thoughts to capture in that very canvas as well.
