The issue of environment has always been close to my heart. We live in a world which depends on us just as much as we depend on it. We, as global citizens, need to look at the issue of environment in a larger perspective and work towards a Go Green initiative. I am already working towards creating awareness with designer Umair Zafar with a fashion show that would be an eye-opener.
The next thing I would like to do is to create a Go Green anthem as well as an art initiative. I feel that small things like planting saplings, stopping deforestation, controlling pollution, preventing cruelty to animals and not polluting the sea would enable us to create 'aware' global citizens of the future. Sushmita Sen has been my inspiration and, someday, I hope to make a difference, even if small.
