The complaint names 13 Old Spice products, including, Old Spice Lionpride and Arctic Force High Endurance deodorants, that it says have affected "hundreds, if not thousands, of consumers." The lawsuit claims to seek class- action status and more than $5 million in damages.

Multiple people have posted photos to Facebook and online to Consumer Affairs with what they describe as painful, severe rashes they have suffered after using Old Spice products. "I used the Old Spice pure sport and after couple of days my underarms were raw," said one reviewer. "It burned so bad that I had to hold ice packs under my arms for a couple of days because of the burn."

Another complaint reads, "It took the skin right off my arm pits. It was truly unreal. It made them blister and bleed. There should be a total recall on this deodorant because of the chemical burns." A spokesman for P&G said what people are describing as burns are skin reactions to the deodorant.
