The Time featured him on its cover a who- pping 13 times, Newsweek showed him 11 times and he not only appeared on the cover of Spider-Man, he even got to do a fist bump with the superhero.
But the Obamamania is far from over. Barack Obama has now appeared on the cover of Mad magazine.
The cover of the latest edition of Mad spoofs the notion of the US president's first 100 days, but accelerates it to his first 100 minutes.
The caricature shows a stressed-out Obama puffing on several cigarettes simultaneously as he holds his head in his hands. On his desk are a painkiller and a medicine for indigestion.
Meanwhile, splayed out on the desk before Obama are newspapers with blaring headlines about the problems he faces.
Interestingly, Obama has also made it to the cover of Ms Magazine a feminist publication. He is the first male to appear on their cover in over a decade.
