Amazon opens second-largest office in Bengaluru, plans major India expansion

Jeff Bezos-owned Amazon inaugurated its second-largest office in India's Bengaluru.

The office campus is spread across 1.1 million square feet that will house more than 7000 employees across e-commerce, operations, payments, technology, and seller services, according to the company.

The office was inaugurated on Monday by Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Industries MB Patil. It is located 15 km from Kempegowda International Airport. Amazon plans to invest USD 35 billion in India in four years.
