Desperate times

These are a few pictures of the refugees from Syria and IS affected regions and their ordeal. The Syrian war has been going on for four years, but only in 2015 has Europe woken up to the flow of Syrian refugees. Circulation of harrowing images of a three-year-old Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi, found dead on a Turkish beach, sparked outrage over the crisis.

Hundreds of refugees walk after leaving the transit zone of the Budapest main train station on Friday intending on walking to the Austrian border. They were part of an estimated 2,000 refugees stuck in makeshift refugee camps at Keleti station, after railway authorities had blocked them from boarding trains to Austria and Germany
