US President Donald Trump's latest annual financial disclosure shows cryptocurrency has emerged as one of the largest sources of income for his business interests, with substantial earnings from token sales, equity transactions, staking rewards and digital asset holdings linked to World Liberty Financial and other crypto ventures.

The disclosure, filed with the US Office of Government Ethics, outlines Trump's interests in several cryptocurrency-related entities and digital asset wallets, reflecting the growing role of digital assets in his broader business portfolio.

Filing details stake in World Liberty Financial

According to the disclosure, Trump holds his cryptocurrency-related interests through DT Marks Defi LLC, formerly known as DT Tower II LLC.

The filing states that the entity owns a 38.25 per cent stake in WLF Holdco LLC, the holding company associated with World Liberty Financial. It also lists cryptocurrency wallets, Coinbase accounts and proceeds from multiple token sales linked to the venture.

The document provides a detailed breakdown of earnings and asset holdings rather than a single consolidated figure for cryptocurrency income.

Token sales generate significant proceeds

Among the largest transactions disclosed is USD 236.25 million in net proceeds from token sales distributed by World Liberty Financial LLC. The filing also reports USD 65.625 million in net proceeds from the sale of equity in WLF Holdco LLC.

It further states that Trump received USD 150.6 million in proceeds linked to an Ethereum wallet, USD 56.04 million from a USDC wallet, USD 42.25 million associated with a Virtual USD wallet and USD 33.46 million connected to a Bitcoin wallet.

The disclosure also reports additional proceeds from holdings in digital assets, including Chainlink, AAVE, ENA, Move and Ondo.

Digital asset holdings valued in millions

Apart from income generated during the reporting period, the filing details the estimated value of Trump's cryptocurrency holdings.

According to the disclosure, both the Ethereum and Bitcoin wallets are valued at more than $50 million each. Governance tokens associated with World Liberty Financial are also valued at more than $50 million, while holdings in other cryptocurrencies, including AAVE and Chainlink, are reported within value ranges extending into the millions of dollars.

Filing reports staking rewards and Stablecoin venture

The financial disclosure also reports income generated through cryptocurrency staking.

According to the filing, Trump received USD 1.82 million in validator rewards through a Coinbase staking agreement, along with USD 6,995 in interest income from a USDC wallet.

Separately, the document reports USD 196.875 million in net proceeds received through capital contributions from new investors and the sale of Class C units of Stablecoin Holdco LLC through DT Marks SC LLC.

Crypto becomes a major part of Trump's business portfolio

The cryptocurrency-related disclosures form part of a much broader financial filing that covers Trump's golf courses, hotels, licensing operations, overseas real estate interests, investments and intellectual property assets.

Rather than presenting a single total for cryptocurrency earnings, the filing separately details proceeds from token sales, equity transactions, staking income and the estimated value of digital asset holdings across multiple entities and wallets.
