PIO woman arrested in US for killing two young sons in New Jersey

US authorities have arrested and charged a 35-year old Indian-origin woman in New Jersey with murdering her two young children. Priyatharsini Natarajan of Hillsborough caused their deaths on Tuesday.

Around 6.45 pm on January 13, the children's father made a 911 call. He said that after arriving home from work, he found his boys, aged 5 and 7, unconscious and that "his wife did something to them".

Arriving at the scene, police officers located the children in a bedroom. They initiated life saving measures which failed, and the children were pronounced dead. Natarajan was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, and one count of third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
