An Australian policeman has been charged with behaving in an offensive manner after he was caught performing a lewd act in his car, a media report said.
Police alleged they spotted the off-duty officer, a 51-year-old constable, at Punchbowl in the state of New South Wales on October 26, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
"He was allegedly performing a lewd act at the time," a police statement said, adding that he was alone in the car.
Police also seized several items following a search of his car.
