A 28-year-old woman has been arrested after the body of her two-year-old daughter was found in a house in Sydney's inner-west
The police were called to the house on Benham Street at Dulwich Hill around 9.30 pm yesterday, and found the toddler's body inside.
It is not yet known how she died.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out today, the police said.
The girl's mother was taken to the Newtown police station, where she is being questioned.
