White House warns Tehran to make a deal amid rising tensions

The US could launch military strikes on Iran within days, according to reports, as the White House issued a stark warning that Tehran should make a deal.

The US has deployed air and naval forces to West Asia, the most substantive deployment to the region since US had invaded Iraq in 2003.

Top US officials met on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Iran. Trump was also briefed.
