Nearly 31 Palestinians who were shot and killed were on their way to a place in southern Gaza near Rafah, news reports said on Sunday

This place was an aid distribution site run by an American organisation called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)

Meanwhile, the Red Cross announced that its field hospital experienced the highest number of fatalities in over a year following these shootings

The fresh attack on Gaza resulted in over 100 injuries, with the majority of those treated having gunshot wounds

While on the other hand, a 21-month war has made over two million people in Gaza dependent on outside help, and food experts fear a famine. As Israel blocked and then limited aid after the last ceasefire ended in March
