The chancellor was received by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat upon his arrival at Ahmedabad airport, according to a post on X by Ministry of External Affairs

The Ministry of External Affairs said Chancellor’s visit comes as India and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations and 25 years of their Strategic Partnership. The visit is expected to further strengthen India–Germany ties
