Beginning his speech at Davos, he said, "Greetings to so many friends and a few enemies in the audience." Trump, further during his address, launched a sharp attack on Europe, NATO, supporters of clean energy policies and previous US administrations

Trump, while speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, also underlined the strategic importance of Greenland, citing its location between the US, China and Russia

Expressing his views on Greenland, Trump further highlighted, "The US interest in Greenland was driven by national security concerns and not by the presence of rare earth minerals. Greenland is not land; it’s a massive piece of ice. We need it for strategic reasons

While stating his views over global turmoil between the US and other countries, Donald Trump also stressed that he had “tremendous respect” for the people of Greenland and Denmark and only the US could ensure the territory’s security

Speaking about the Ukraine-Russia war, Trump said, "I'm meeting Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, and I think we are reasonably close to a deal to end the war"
