The unprecedented attack by Hamas terrorist group on Israel has jolted the world. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that they are at war in retaliation to the Hamas attack. West has extended support to Israel and strongly condemned the attack by the terror group. President Joe Biden confirmed US’ support for Israel and said that they won’t fail to have their back. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted, “We stand in solidarity with Israel”. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tweeted that they stand unequivocally with Israel. French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the terror attack against Israel and expressed solidarity with the victims. Qatar solely held Israel responsible for the ongoing escalations. Pakistan’s stance is also in favour of Palestine. Iran`s foreign ministry also said attacks by its ally Hamas on Israel were an act of self-defence by Palestinians. Oman issued a statement claiming the situation was a result of “continued illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories”. Saudi Arabia also took a stance in support of the “legitimate rights of the Palestinian people”.
