Israel`s military has revealed the identity of a key Hamas figure it says was instrumental in orchestrating the October 7 attacks that ignited the war in Gaza. Iyad Ahmed Abd al-Rahman Shambari, described by the IDF as the chief of Hamas` military intelligence operations, has now been named and linked directly to the planning and execution of the assault.
