Massive wildfires have destroyed about one-third of Namibia’s iconic Etosha National Park, burning through more than 34% of its land. Authorities say the fires started last week, likely from charcoal production on nearby farms, and spread quickly due to dry winds. At least nine antelopes were killed, grazing land was wiped out, and communities around the park are at risk.
