Wicketkeeper Aditya Tare to lead Mumbai squad, which includes 29-year-old leg spinner Pardeep Sahu and 16-year-old left-arm spinner Sidak Singh, at the Buchi Babu All India Invitation Cricket Tournament to be played at Chennai


Mumbai: Wicketkeeper Aditya Tare is to lead the Mumbai squad at the Kalpathi AGS Buchi Babu All India Invitation Cricket Tournament to be played from August 16 to September 1 at Chennai.

The squad includes 29-year-old leg spinner Pardeep Sahu, who had played 13 Ranji Trophy games for Haryana and took 13 wickets since his debut in 2002-03. Sahu's claim to fame, after he shifted to Mumbai three years ago, is his rare haul of 10 wickets in an innings for Payyade Sports Club against MIG CC in November, 2014 in the local Kanga League 'A' division competition.

Also included in the side is 16-year-old UP-born left-arm spinner, Sidak Singh, who had played Twenty20 games last season for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament and took 6 wickets in 7 games.
