Zulqarnain Haider, the Pakistan wicketkeeper, who left the team in Dubai and flew to London without the knowledge of the team management, has been slammed by limited overs captain Shahid Afridi.
"He has behaved very childishly. He has behaved just like Yasir Hameed had done in England. What is he trying to achieve? In the end he will gain nothing and will lose out as a player," he told reporters.
Afridi said that Zulqarnain should have spoken to his teammates if he was receiving threats from bookies. "Even if he didn't want to come to me or the team management, he should have spoken to Abdul Razzaq, who is close to him. He has taken the decision of an unstable person," Afridi said.
