India's cricket board Wednesday announced the venues for the seven-match one-day international series between India and Australia in October-November


India's cricket board Wednesday announced the venues for the seven-match one-day international series between India and Australia in October-November.

Guwahati, Delhi, Mumbai, Mohali, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Jaipur were named as the venues in a statement issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after its tournaments and fixtures committee met at the Cricket Centre on Wednesday.

The itinerary for the series will be announced after the logistics are worked out, it said.

Meanwhile, the committee also finalised details about the domestic season. Some of the prominent decisions taken in the meeting were:

THE 2009-10 DOMESTIC SEASON - SENIORS
The programme for the season was drawn up.

The Duleep Trophy will be played on a knockout basis.

The inter-state Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, which hasn't been stagedu00a0for the last two years due to the Indian Premiel League,u00a0will be played.

Women's cricketu00a0
Only One-Day games and T20 encounters will be played.

BCCI CORPORATE TROPHY
The South Zone will host the inaugural edition of the competition from 1st September to 8th September 2009. The twelve participating teams will be divided into three groups of four sides each. The matches will be played on a League-cum-Knockout basis.

JUNIOR CRICKET
The CK Nayudu Trophy (Under-22) will be played in the Elite Group u2013 Plate Group format, on home and away basis.

The Cooch Behar Trophy (Under-19) will be played in the Elite Group u2013 Plate Group format, on home and away basis.
