Left-arm pacer Sran was greeted by his India teammates and coach Ravi Shastri. Sran, who made his international debut at Perth against Australia, played six ODIs and two T20Is last year before being marred by a knee and shoulder injury. He received a pep talk from India physio Patrick Farhat as soon as the team assembled for the practice session. "You have to be with us and not in the nets. You have to work harder on your fitness to be get back stronger," Farhat is believed to have told him. He rolled his arm over for nearly an hour.
