Resuming on their overnight score of 86-5, Don Bosco made a comeback into the contest with Nutan Goyal's gritty 67-ball 46, which included seven boundaries. The Matunga school eventually declared at 232-9 in 71 overs to take a 101-run lead. Parle Tilak were bowled out for 131 on the first day.
Parle Tilak suffered a batting collapse in their second dig as they were bowled out for a paltry 40 in 20.3 overs. Chris was the wrecker-in-chief with figures of 9.3-7-8-8.

Meanwhile, in another contest at Cross Maidan, left-arm spinners Atharva Bhosale (6-15) and Aman Khan (4-28) starred with the ball in the second innings to help IES VN Sule Guruji English (Dadar) win by an innings and 254 runs against Balmohan Vidyamandir Marathi (Dadar).
In another tie, Swami Vivekanand International's all-rounder Ayush Jethwa ended up with a 12-wicket match haul (6-70) and (6-30) to help the Borivali school earn a 75-run win against Dr Antonio D'Silva (Dadar). At Oval Maidan, Rizvi Springfield's medium pacer Arun Gupta claimed 6-45 as the Bandra school beat BAK Swadhyay Bhavan (Matunga) win by an innings and 216 runs.
