It has been reported that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) did not want Lorgat to head Cricket South Africa. Lorgat, who was ICC's chief executive for four years, reportedly rubbed the BCCI the wrong way over the Future Tours Programme, the DRS and an ICC independent governance review.
