Queensland paceman Ryan Harris boosted his chances of making Australia's Ashes squad with career-best match figures in the domestic Sheffield Shield competition yesterday.
Harris captured match figures of nine for 140 against Tasmania in Hobart in his first four-day game since a knee injury forced a six-month break on the sidelines.
Michael Clarke fared best of the Australia batsmen in action on Friday, compiling 113 in a lone hand for New South Wales against Victoria in Sydney.
