Deccan Chargers' contract terminated by BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) terminated the contract of IPL franchise Deccan Chargers at an emergency governing council meeting here yesterday.

BCCI President N Srinivasan took the final call to end the impasse after having a discussion with other members, a BCCI official said. However, BCCI's working committee is slated to meet today to decide the future course of action. u00a0
