Praveen Kumar is popularly called "Bheem" by his Uttar Pradesh teammates for his bulky size and notorious habit of poking fun at people. Besides all that, he is a fun person to have around. Kumar had missed the first two-dayers in the ongoing series against New Zealand due to flu, but was recalled to the squad for the last three games.u00a0
On Friday evening, after completing an extensive bowling session at the nets, 'PK' was seen walking towards the players' enclosure when a journalist asked him: "Kaise ho bhai? Are you fit now?"
Just then, Kumar screwed his face, almost indicating that he was ready to break the correspondent's bones into a million pieces. After a few seconds, he smiled and said: "Didn't you see me bowling? Of course, I am fit."
As it turned out, he didn't play Saturday's game.
