Kulkarni has been fortunate to have opportunities coming his way but has thrived in every outing.

The help resultedu00a0 in him emerging as the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy. Things could get better for Kulkarni in the second IPL season as Pollock is expected to be Mumbai Indians' bowling coach.

"The IPL was a turning point for me since I got a chance to share the dressing room with greats like Pollock, Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya," he said.
