Gambhir rushed to hospital

Opener Gautam Gambhir did not bat in his usual position as India began their against England in the fourth Test at The Oval after suffering concussion.

Gambhir sustained his injury when, trying to catch Kevin Pietersen, he fell on his head at mid-on on Friday. An India statement issued on Saturday said: "Gautam Gambhir had a mild concussion when he hit the ground.

As he was continuing to feel uncomfortable this morning, he was sent for a scan."u00a0
