Pune Warriors' coach Geoff Marsh couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to kick start his maiden assignment in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former Australian batsman will be pitted against his son Shaun Marsh, who has been retained by Kings XI Punjab, at the DY Patil Stadium today.
We have seen brothers turning foes in the IPL in the last three editions, but this will be the first time a father will be up against his son. "We have sorted him (Shaun). He is their batting mainstay and knowing him for so long, we will ensure that he does not score many runs. My plan is to get him out off the first ball," Marsh quipped.
He believes skipper Yuvraj Singh, who captained Shaun at the Kings XI Punjab, is best equipped to tackle his son.
"Yuvraj has played with him for three years, so he too is in a better position to sort him," he told SUNDAY
MiD DAY on the sidelines of the team's practice session on Saturday.
Even younger brother Mitchell will be up against his elder brother Shaun in the clash today. However, his chances of playing today look slim. "I don't think I would be playing this match, but you never know," Mitchell said.
If given a chance, Mitchell will not show any mercy to his brother.
"I will definitely not spare him when on the field. I also have a few scores to settle with him," quipped Mitchell.
"Obviously, we won't look up to each other as brothers once we cross the ropes," Mitchell, who played for the Deccan Chargers in the last IPL, said. Marsh Senior however, expects a keen battle between his two sons.
"Both my sons are extremely competitive. It will be interesting to see who ends on the winning side. It will be a mixed feeling for me," he said.
