The Pakistan Cricket Board's three-member fact-finding committee report is inconclusive on runaway wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider's future

Theu00a0Pakistan Cricket Board's three-member fact-finding committee report is inconclusive on runaway wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider's future. According to PCB sources, the report which has been jointly finalised by team manager Intikhab Alam, PCB's security manager Major Najam Javed and senior official Subhan Ahmed, could neither recommend a penalty for Haider nor call for his inclusion in the national side.u00a0

"Haider has not disclosed any solid reason for his controversial flight from Dubai to London during the series against South Africa. He had been changing his version often and therefore the report is inconclusive," said the source. It could not be confirmed whether the report says anything about Haider's mental health, but few in the PCB believe that he is a 'psychotic case'. "It is very difficult to describe his nature. He needs to strengthen his weak nerves," said a PCB official, who has seen the report.

"Haider had no answers to the questions posed by Alam, Javed and Ahmed. Haider wants asylum in UK and therefore is seeking public sympathy," the source added.
