The hosts were relying on overnight batsmen - veteran Shivnaraine Chanderpaul and flamboyant strokemaker Darren Bravo - to lead the challenge. Resuming at 131/3, West Indies again crumbled.
Bravo (41) and Chanderpaul (30) added only 17 runs for the day when India got the breakthrough.

Praveen Kumar was the pick of the bowlers, dismissing both Bravo and Chanderpaul.
Rahul Dravid was adjudged the man of the match.
India made 246 in the first innings and 252 in the second.
Both the teams play their second Test at Bridgetown on June 28.
