Australian captain Steven Smith was ruled out of the T20 series against India due to a shoulder injury.

David Warner stood in as captain for the three-match series, which began here on Saturday. Batsman Marcus Stoinis replaced Smith in the squad for the remainder of the series. Smith is expected to be fit for next month's Ashes.
