Had the Indian cricket board not been so dead against the Decision Review System, Australian skipper Michael Clarke would have been dismissed for 39 instead of staying unbeaten with 103 at the end of the first day in Chennai.


Tackling India's performer of the day, Ravichandran Ashwin, Clarke inside-edged a deliveryu00a0and the next thing he knew was bat-pad had held on to the ball.
