Manchester United's former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to return to his native Norway to coach Molde, the club where he started his professional career, after signing a contract yesterday.
After retiring because of recurring knee problems, the player dubbed "the baby-faced assassin," became a reserves coach with Manchester United.
During his international career he scored 23 goals in 67 appearances and 126 playing for Man United.
Bankrolled by Norwegian businessman Kjell Inge Roeke, Molde finished 11th in the 16-team Norwegian league which ended last Sunday, just missing relegation.
Solskjaer's arrival next season coincides with the club's 100th anniversary.
