Bangalore's passage into the semis could be more demanding as they require big victories against Somerset and South Australia Redbacks. RCB take on Somerset in a crucial CLT20 tie at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here today. Skipper Daniel Vettori would obviously be hoping for some fireworks from the big-hitting West Indian Chris Gayle, who has had a quiet tournament so far.

The former West Indies captain got off to aggressive starts against Warriors and Kolkata Knight Riders, but failed to convert them into big scores. Gayle, who scored in excess of 600 runs in 12 IPL matches, almost single-handedly led RCB into IPL IV final. RCB could create tremors, if Gayle, T Dilshan and Virat Kohli were to score heavily.
