Somdev Devvarman will face Alex Bogdanovic in the second round of the French Open qualifiers after a hard-fought win yesterday.
Somdev, ranked 138 in the world, defeated Brazil's Joao Souza 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 at Roland Garros.
Unlike Somdev, Prakash Amritraj had a terrible outing as he went down 6-4, 6-4 to third seed Marcos Daniel of Brazil.
