Sourav Ganguly yesterday said that he hoped to play this season's Indian Premier League.
"I am keeping my fingers crossed. There is a very good possibility of me playing this year," Ganguly said during the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kochi Tuskers Kerala game at the Eden Gardens.
Though Ganguly, who went unsold in the players' auction earlier this year, would not mention the name of the team he was hoping to play for, reports have said that Kochi were keen to hire him.
Kochi would be hit hard when the Sri Lankan players return home on May 5 to prepare for their upcoming England tour.
