Spot-fixing scandal: Jagdale to meet Delhi Police

Former BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale has been called by the Delhi Police to understand the revenue model of Indian Premier League in connection with the spot-fixing scandal


Sanjay Jagdale has been called to get an idea about BCCI's role in the agreement between team Rajasthan Royals and cricketers as the agreement is a tripartite one, sources said.

Rajasthan Royals had filed complaint against the three arrested players -- Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan - on the basis of breach of contract.

"He is not called for questioning. We want to understand certain things," a senior police official said. Jagdale had resigned as BCCI Secretary on Friday last Sources also said they want to know whether BCCI wants to be a complainant in this case.

Twenty-six people, including three players, have been arrested since May 6 from various places in the country after the IPL spot-fixing scandal came to light.
