Spurs vs Everton EPL tie postponed

Tottenham's Premier League match against Everton has been postponed due to recent violence in London but remaining fixtures this weekend will go ahead as planned, it was confirmed yesterday.

The Premier League said in a statement all games except Tottenham's fixture with Everton at White Hart Lane had been given the all clear to kick off as planned after consultation with police and local authorities.

" ... aside from the postponed Tottenham Hotspur v Everton match, all League games in the capital will go ahead as scheduled this weekend," a Premier League statement said.
