Squash tourney in memory of Kamte

Slain top cop Ashok Kamte, killed in the Mumbai terror attacks will live on in spirit, on the sports field. Kamte, a very good sportsman himself, will have a squash tourney dedicated to his memory.

The Indian Squash Professionals (ISP) and the Squash Racquets Association of Maharashtra will conduct a tournament in memory of ACP Kamte who was killed in the 26/11 terror blasts. ISP director Mahendra Agarwal said the Ashok Kamte junior team championship will be held at the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana from February 7-8.

The winner will get Rs 27,000. Entries close on January 24. Details on www.ispsquash.com
