Third umpire in the spotlight on Day Two

12 July,2013 11:53 PM IST |   |  PA Sport

Third umpire Marais Erasmus was in the centre stage for two controversial and pivotal decisions on another hectic day in the first Ashes Test.

Jonathan Trott's lbw dismissal just before tea left England a precarious 11 for two.

Erasmus had already made a marginal decision that Ashton Agar was not stumped off Graeme Swann, video-replay footage unable to convince none of the number 11 debutant's back foot was grounded behind the line when Matt Prior lifted the bails.u00a0
