Wahab Riaz has joined teammates Imran Farhat and Umar Akmal by threatening to sue alleged bookmaker Mazhar Majeed for claiming he was involved in match fixing.

Reacting to another recently released video showing Majeed telling an undercover reporter that he had put 10,000 pounds into Wahab's coat as part of a payoff, the left-arm pacer said: "I am consulting my lawyers and will also seek advice from the Pakistan Cricket Board as the allegations made by Mazhar Majeed are a slur on me."
Before Wahab, Farhat and Umar, who were among the four more Pakistani players, apart from the suspended trio of Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, implicated into match fixing by Majeed, said they would be would be sending legal notices to the UK-based bookie. Umar's brother and wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal was the fourth player named in the video leaked by Geo News recently.
"Majeed is neither my agent nor a very close friend, he is just slandering us for personal gain. That is all.
"And I have every intention to send him a legal notice to expose him," added
