We can learn from Indian batsmen, admits Matthew Wade

Australia wicket-keeper Matthew Wade yesterday admitted that his team could pick up a thing or two on how to bat on Indian wickets from the manner in which the hosts' batsmen played yesterday on a surface that is deteriorating.


India finished Day Three on 515 for 8 with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni scoring an unbeaten 206. Wade was all praise for the India captain. "Dhoni played brilliantly. It was unbelievable," Wade told reporters after the day's play.u00a0

"Most of our younger players are in the sub-continent for the first time and we can learn a lot from the way the Indian batsmen played today," he added. Day Four could decide the outcome of the match, felt Wade.

"If there is anything for us in this Test, it is coming tomorrow and getting those two wickets. We'll try for some quick wickets and then look to bat long," he said.u00a0
