Al Barkaat to meet Swami Vivekanand in Harris final

A splendid batting performance from Himanshu Singh and excellent bowling from Saud Mansoori helped Al Barkaat MMI English School (Kurla) win on better quotient against Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) in the Harris Shield yesterday.

At Bombay Gymkhana, the Kurla school declared at 300 for 9 in 105.5 overs as Himanshu remained unbeaten on 165 off 304 deliveries. For Rizvi, medium pacer Moin Khan picked up 2-48 in his 13-over spell. In reply, Rizvi were reduced to 43-5 in 19.5 overs. Meanwhile at Parsee Gymkhana, superb bowling by off-spinner Nishant Kadam (5-66 in his 23 overs) helped Swami Vivekanand International School (Kandivli) win on first innings lead against Don Bosco (Matunga) and thus entered their maiden Harris Shield final.
