Ajinkya Naik: ‘Amar Cricketers T20 event is a strong platform to compete at highest level’

Some talented young women's cricketers like Sanika Chalke and Hurley Gala (both India U-19 & Mumbai), Fatima Jaffer, Manali Dakshini, and Vrushali Bhagat (all India ‘A') and Tanvi Gavde (Mumbai) among others, will be on view at the Amar Cricketers Invitational Corporate Women's T20 League, organised under the aegis of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), from October 2 to 6 at the MCA Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, Kandivli.

MCA will assist in allocating players across the six teams (Servify, RR Group, Wishram Wealth, Imprint Displays, Jaz Square, and Parshwa Bullion), ensuring each side includes a minimum of two U-19 and two U-23 players.

The tournament's winners will receive Rs 1,00,000 while the runners-up get Rs 50,000. There will also be individual cash awards of Rs 10,000 for the Best Batter and Best Bowler, and Rs 15,000 for Woman of the Series. Every player will also receive a guaranteed Rs 5,000 participation allowance, revealed Bhushan Patil, President of Amar Cricketers and MCA Apex Council member.

Every player deserves the opportunity to perform, grow and compete at the highest level. Our aim is to ensure that talent gets the platform it deserves," said MCA President Ajinkya Naik.
