Ashok Menaria guides India 'A' to series win

Ashok Menaria's first five-wicket haul in his List A career helped India 'A' beat New Zealand 'A' by six wickets in the second one-dayer at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium here yesterday.


Menaria finished with figures of 5-38 in 10 overs to dismiss the visitors for 216 in 47.3 overs after skipper Unmukt Chand won the toss and elected to field.

He also smashed an unbeaten 37 to help the hosts take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Chand (59) and Mandeep Singh (59) were the highest run- scorers for India ‘A'.u00a0
