New Delhi: With the Supreme Court directing the BCCI to have an independent auditor appointed by the Lodha Panel, the Board yesterday sought clarifications as the global media rights tenders are slated to be submitted by October 25.

There are primarily three specific points on which the parent body of cricket in India sought directions from the Lodha panel.

Firstly, the decision regarding appointing an independent auditor to oversee the tender and other processes. Second is if there should be any specific directions/instructions on whether BCCI should defer or cancel the opening of global tender on October 25.

The board also wanted a directive on whether they could issue clarifications to the potential bidders if they have any questions.
